So what's up Louisville? How was your 2011? Mine was all right. Played a lot of music and played some really great venues arround town. I've come to love the Bard's Town this year. They have two great stages and because they double as a resturant they allow 18 and up shows.

Also working with the Best of the Bottom, I got to throw a lot of really cool shows. I've learned that being a promoter is not that easy. But it seems that the money is a little better than performing. I guess it's safe to say that the more hats you can wear the more dollars you can collect. 

Met some cool bands in 2011 Zebra's in Public, Crash DDZ, Kit Karma, MojoFlo, the Nymphonics, C.H.U.C.K. Boys, Late Ones, Skyscraper Stereo, the Incredibles, 1000 Banana, Macro and Treekeeper, DJ Slowmaster Stan 'D' mother fing man Adkins, Lil Clee, Cphr Dvn, Anton Mink, C Money, Jalin Roze, and a fuck ton of others. The scene is poppin. Just gotta get out there and stop ignoring all those Facebook invites.

Met some cool industry peeps Puckett with Little Heart records, Sean Bailey, Louisville MusiCulture, Mark Densford with High Hat entertainment. It seems like there are a ton of resources right here in Louisville. Most of the folks I've met have been very easy to talk to and get to know. 

We lost a few entites this year, Skull Alley, Ear X Tacy, and the Brycc house moved again. But with that being said there were a few new venues that have opend up Meat, located above the Blind Pig is doing shows, they have a nice corner stage with plenty of atmospher and I all ready mentioned the Bard's Town, and there is also Dish on market a very unlikely places that is doing weekend DJ sets. It's kind of exciting.

It's truly a new year. Just a few updates as not much has changed ;) I've temporaroly turned of the video area, it was really sucking. It's not gone for ever, the videos are still here just not turned on. Oh yeah I changed the look and feel of the site as well. So new year holler at me.
